After graduation I just enjoyed life and worked various jobs. No particular plan. In January 1972 I was working as a laborer building Northgate Mall. In Feburary I met Pat Barnes and after a few dates we were married Feb 11, 1972. In 2011 we celebrated 39 years of good and blessed life together. In March of 1972 I began working with a painting contractor. 1976 I started my own contracting business.I traveled several states doing contract work on hotels. That was a fun time and continued until 2001 when I had some health problems and ended my contracting. My grandson, D.J., was born that year also. He has given us a new outlook on life. Still enjoying family and life, still no particular plan.

Wow, a lot of memories. Vaughn Hatfield aggravating me, Ms. Cartwright catching me and Carl Hickman matching pennies. She ask if we were,we could have said no,but were to honest and both about the same time said "Yes Maam".Mr. Snyder gave us a few licks with the paddle. Friday night football and mixed drinks(grape,orange,coke). Coach Burnette killing us in gym classs, Bobby Thompson doing 600 setups and charging .50 cents to punch him in the stomach. Claude Cox(I think)crashing into the jot-em-down.
