11/10/49-6/6/08 Eddie was preceded in death by his first wife, Pat Fairbanks Reed. They had two daughters, Carla and Laura. He had 6 grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Jeri Reed.
He was a proud veteran of the US Navy and served on the USS Truxtun during the Vietnam War. Eddie enjoyed golf, fishing and his family.
Eddie is remembered by his sweetness and constant smile.
I worked with Eddie from 1983-1986 at Stowers Machinery. I didn't have the opportunity to talk to him much since he was a field mechanic and I worked in the office, but I know that he was a very hard worker. I never heard anything negative about Eddie. He was a truly nice person.
